Even though I'm a cat person, I'll give you a 5-stars...

A really cool shooter with a nice, arcade beat em up feeling ^.^
The enemy designs are VERY LOVELY, but they feel slow and they make the game not challenging at all (just as the powerful and frequent health pickups). I haven't went below 50% of my max hp for a single time ^^'

It's nice mechanically, but the game is just nothing special and feels a bit incomplete; especially on the graphic side.

Simple graphics and visuals really fit this game. It has some funny jokes and puns and it's pretty challenging.

The graphics and the atmosphere really pulled me in your world. It's a good game, even if the puzzles are a bit too few and/or too simple, but that's probably only due to the game's length and nothing else. I'd love to see Post Mortem turning into a full-length project, as it has a lot of potential. The only annoying downside is the cursors; the arrow is beyond pointless and the RMB could cancel more things than just walking. It could switch your cursor or something like that, because switching them the regular way feels like a chore sometimes.

A cool and simple game ^.^
I like the visuals, the challenge and the bossfight was interesting.
Damaging foes makes you stop, your weapon flashes and there's a sound effect, so slashing enemies feels good, but the glowing things player has to collect make no sounds and/or screen effects whatsoever, so it kind of takes away some of the fun factor.
The only really annoying thing about the game is when the chasing enemies spawn coming at you straight from the walls when you're near the edge of the screen.
Oh, and the music overlaps when the game resets, so you can hear the same song twice at the same time after you finish the last level.

There should be a button to quit a level or the level selection menu. And to quit the deathmatch mode without resetting the whole game. Also, when two players shoot at each other and they both die, the game tells you that 'PLAYER X WINS' and then changes it to 'PLAYER Y' wins and that's pretty confusing. Also, the game doesn't save your times and level progress in any way. Some music would be nice, too. The game simple, but it's really pretty and the controls feels nice.

The quit button was a small bug which is now fixed and I'll investigate the deathmatch bug.
Save systems will come in a full release of the game

A cool game, though the ending wasn't really satisfying. Oh, and it crashed when I collected the last thingy on a level while getting hit. The screen went to KO and just froze.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks letting me know about your issue, it's been fixed in the latest version.

Nice sound design and graphics, but stuff like that high quality lightning usually ruins the overall retro experience... And the game is fun to play, but I still feel like I'm just missing something. Like the whole 'spell' system for example. Or a few secret rooms, as there was one in the first world and had that whole crate pushing thing that isn't really used in any other place I checked, and I checked pretty thoroughly. And having one boss with more hp each time feels cheap when there are new enemies each world already, as the boss isn't really as challenging when you fight it for the third time. The ending felt a bit underwhelming, too. But the game was really nice otherwise and it has potential. :)
