It's difficult, pretty, interesting and with a cool bossfight. Adding these features you mentioned in the descritpion would surely pull me back to replay it :D

Ok, the game is ok, but I didn't die a single time through all 3 scenarios. It's not a good thing. And the weapons work too similar to each other. Plus, there was a funny bug that spawned twe Max/Key boss fight in the field twice. I listened to the whole dialogue, then it started anew and there were two identical couples chasing me.

A fun minigame. It gets really difficult really quickly, but there's not really time for balancing stuff on gamejams, so it's totally understandable :P

A nice thing, but could certailny use a newgrounds highscore system or some more difficulties, as it just gets repetitive after a while. I had over 3000 points with barely any numbers on the board and just got bored.

The game seems really promising, but it just freezes after the cutscene, skipping the forest or not. And pressing all the bound keys doesn't help much either. Will surely come back to check the game and rate it properly after some time ;)

The game is just awesome. You just nailed the whole old feeling, all while doing something creative. The game is REALLY difficult in the second half and also really rewarding. And the bossfight is great.

Ok, but this is NOT an rpg. Just because it was made in RPGMaker doesn't make it one.
You could add more than one incorrect anwer per question, too.

The game is a bit buggy, but being an early alpha game, it's still really impressive. I'm digging this game and I'd love to play this it its better state. The thing that was most noticable was the unfriendly mouse controls that didn't allow me to switch between weapons on the go, because rolling the MMB just moved the screen instead of affecting the game. There should be some alternatives to the MMB, or, if there already are, then they should be explained. The controls thingy in the main menu only explains the gamepad layout and not the keyboard/mouse. I know it's all in the description, but still...
This, plus the boss screen thingy. We are fighting for a few seconds and then the title card just pops up. It should be shown earlier; before we could deal any damage to each other. Maybe disabling the controls for a second or two would help.
Keep it up and you'll certainly get a better score, because this has a lot of potential :D

Hey, glad you got some fun out of it despite any inconveniences!
It's one of those painful realizations, weapon cycling really is as unintuitive and I'm having a hard time embracing the fact.
There is a manual weapon selection via number keys, UI should probaby also reflect that.
The boss screen timing I should really have fixed a long time ago, I know.

Ignore the people who say it's too hard. There are health packs and the level is pretty short anyway. And maybe they don't remember that they have plenty of ammo and don't have to reload between each and every wave. It'd be a cool game if it was full and it's a shame this game's your only entry in here :P

Definitely a great game :O But a panic button could be great, because I got stuck in a wall just before finishing off the boss :/
